Printing on Campus

Sinclair Community College provides convenient printing and copying at all locations through the PaperCut system. Students receive a free balance each semester and can add funds for additional printing as needed.

Free & Paid Printing

Free Prints

  • Students receive $7.50 in free printing credits at the start of each semester.

Add Funds

  • Add credit online using a credit/debit card at papercut.sinclair.edu.
  • Click Add Credit and follow the steps to pay securely via TouchNet.

Print & Copy Access

PaperCut Client

  • Installed on all Sinclair-imaged devices.
  • Displays a popup showing document details and account charges.
  • Choose to charge either your Personal Account or a Shared Account (used for departmental billing).

Balance & Usage

  • View your current balance and transaction history by logging into papercut.sinclair.edu.
  • Change your PIN under Change Details.

Copier Login Methods

  • Swipe your Tartan Card or enter your 9-digit ID and PIN (default is your 4-digit birth month/day).

Mobility Print (BYOD Printing)

Mobility Print is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) printing solution that allows students to print quickly from personal devices without logging into a Sinclair computer. Supported devices include Chromebooks, iPads, iPhones, Macs, Windows laptops, and Android devices.

How Mobility Print Works

Mobility Print uses a virtual print queue called FindMePrinter. Students can send print jobs to this queue and release them at any open-area Sinclair copier.

Important: To print using Mobility Print, you must:

  • Be connected to the SCC-Wireless Wi-Fi network
  • Sign in using your Sinclair credentials
  • Select FindMePrinter as the printer name

Device Setup Instructions

Windows Laptops

Windows users must download the Mobility Print client:

iPad, iPhone, and MacBook

Apple mobile devices do not require additional software. Simply select FindMePrinter when printing.

Android Devices

Android users must install the Mobility Print app from Google Play:

Chromebook users must install the Mobility Print app from the Chrome Web Store:

Releasing Your Print Job

  1. Go to any Sinclair copier available to students
  2. Log in to the PaperCut system by swiping your Tartan Card or entering your 9-digit Tartan ID and PIN
  3. Select Print Release
  4. Choose the print job(s) you want to release
