IT Master Plan
The Sinclair Strategic IT Planning Process helps turn ideas from across the college into real improvements for teaching, learning, and day-to-day work. Departments meet with assigned IT liaisons to discuss goals and pain points, explore where technology can help, and plan projects together. Promising ideas become proposals and—when approved—are scheduled in the annual IT Master Plan and related capital requests. It’s a transparent roadmap built with input from students, faculty, and staff.
How the planning process works (at a glance)
- Listen & discover: Ongoing check-ins between departments and IT liaisons surface needs and opportunities.
- Co-design solutions: Teams outline requirements, timelines, and resource needs together.
- Prioritize & fund: Projects are evaluated for impact and fit, then incorporated into the IT Master Plan.
- Deliver & review: Approved work is executed, measured, and refined based on feedback.
