Windows 7 - End of Life

As of January 14th, 2020, Microsoft will no longer support Windows 7. Therefore, Sinclair will have to upgrade all college owned PC’s/laptops that are using Windows 7 to Windows 10 before this date. Sinclair IT began this upgrade process last year, but there are still many to do and we need your help. If you have a PC/laptop running Windows 7, please go to https://apps.sinclair.edu/pcreplacement to schedule a PC replacement/upgrade to Windows 10. Please try to schedule these as soon as possible to avoid scheduling congestion near the end of the year. After January 31, 2020, users still using Windows 7 PC’s/laptops on campus will not be able to log onto the Sinclair network. Classroom computers are being addressed using a separate IT managed process.
