Technical Software Resources

Software applications on campus are divided into three categories. The available software is a combination of Sinclair's "Core Applications", software assigned to students through App-V, and locally installed software to the specific workstation as in the ADA & AV/Flex stations.

Core Applications

The core applications represent a standard for all campus labs that have the academic image.

Course Specific Applications

Students login as themselves on an IT Labs computer and the student will receive the software that has been assigned to the class for which they are registered. Additional Information about Students logging into campus PCs to access their course software can be found here.

Software Available on AV/Flex Computer Stations

In some cases, class-specific software can not be delivered to students using virtual software through App-V.  In some cases, the software is provided to the student through locally installed software onto the AV/Flex stations located in the IT Computer Labs. The software found on these stations can be found here.
